A chance to relax in beautiful natural surroundings

- Make the most of the hot springs by camping overnight

Surrounded by fig trees, these azure pools are supplied by water from underground caves and are perfect for swimming and relaxing.

After leaving the city, you will travel along dirt roads through rural villages to reach the hot springs. Along the way you will see huge Baobab trees and the occasional Maasai boma (housing compound). After around an hour’s drive, the dry landscape opens to a green oasis and you know you have reached the hot springs!

Although not ‘hot’ as their name suggests, the crystal blue water is very warm and enjoyable to swim in. Wooden ladders, or a rope swing for the more adventurous, allow access to the main pool and a short swim against a current allows you to reach a second, more open pool.

There is a small bar onsite supplying local food, beer and soft drinks, and basic changing and toilet facilities are available.
