This guided walking tour introduces you to Arusha, known as the gateway town to safari in northern Tanzania.

Your guide will collect you from your accommodation, or meet you at a pre-arranged meeting point in Arusha town, depending on your preference.

You will then spend a morning or afternoon walking to various landmarks in Arusha, such as the central Clock Tower. the Arusha Declaration Monument and the Central Market. Your guide will also identify areas of interest, such as restaurants, ATMs and supermarkets. Your guide will tell you about the landmarks and answer any questions you may have about the town or Tanzanian culture. We can tailor the route of the tour if you have particular interests.

The tour will finish at the Maasai Market, an indoor market that sells a whole range of Tanzanian inspired souvenirs. Be sure to have a go at negotiating your price - it's all part of the experience!

Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and we recommend bringing a drink, especially in hot weather.
